The Materials Research Cluster provides its customers a multidisciplinary offer in the field of materials science to speed their time-to-market for new products and technologies in Flanders and far beyond.

The partners of the Materials Research Cluster - OCAS, CRM, BIL, Sirris, Ghent University, Clusta, SIM and its department Flamac - have access to a unique range of equipment. In addition to state-of-the-art labs for the production of alloys or coatings and advanced material characterisation, the facilities also include machinery for testing of in-use properties and durability of materials and structures.
